SÖRS Spring Water Refund and Returns Policy (CPA/ECTA Compliant)

    At SÖRS, we are committed to complying with the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECTA). We ensure a fair and transparent process for returns and refunds.

  1. Right to Return (ECTA Cooling-Off Period)

    In accordance with Section 44 of the ECTA, you are entitled to cancel any transaction for the supply of goods purchased online without reason and without penalty within 7 (seven) business days after the date of receipt of the goods.

  • Condition of Goods: The goods must be returned in their original, unopened, and undamaged packaging, with all seals intact.
  • Exclusion for Consumables: Please note that due to the nature of our product (a consumable item), we cannot accept returns of opened or partially consumed bottles under the ECTA cooling-off period, as the product would no longer be fit for resale.
  • Cost of Return: You will be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods.
  1. Returns Due to Quality Defect (CPA Warranty)

    If the product is defective, unsafe, or unsuitable for the purpose for which it was intended (e.g., damaged in transit, contaminated, or past its best-before date upon delivery), you may return the item within 6 (six) months of delivery, as per the CPA.

  • SÖRS Responsibility: In this instance, SÖRS will cover the cost of collecting the defective product and will offer you a choice of a full refund, replacement, or repair (where applicable).
  1. Process for Returns

    To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  • Inspection: We will arrange for the collection of the goods and inspect them upon receipt.
  • Notification: We will notify you of the status of your refund after completing the inspection.

    If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your original method of payment (credit card or bank account).

  • Processing Time: Refunds will be processed within 15 business days of the date of cancellation or return approval, as stipulated by the ECTA.
  • Deductions: If the return is due to the ECTA cooling-off period, the cost of the return shipping may be deducted from your refund.
